Once upon a time…
StoryCog’s first project will be taking over the running of the web’s largest competition for short science films. Our director took the idea to a government agency in 2006; we’ve been running it together for the last two years; they’re in the process of handing it back for its third full year.
We’re exploring several other projects, primarily in the STEM engagement space. We’re particularly interested in helping people tell their own stories – in giving people the tools, environment, support, and confidence so that conveying their passion to others becomes a natural part of what they do.
StoryCog, then, isn’t a ‘normal’ communications consultancy. If you want interview training for your corporate staff, you’ll find better courses elsewhere. But if you want to think through what sorts of skills and back-up your people will need to engage with broad audiences, we might just be the people you’re looking for.
